Southern Flourish Magazine Launch
Southern Flourish, a new, 100% digital magazine that dishes out modern style and reveals Southern lifestyles, launches in a week on March 15th. It is such a joy to have a publication with inspirational, modern content at our fingertips - especially since Domino magazine is no longer.
The launch issue features 15 writers living in 9 Southern states - and I am one of them! Check out the sneak peek below for my article on Save.Spend.Splurge: Quatrefoil. It was such a pleasure to piece together and write about a design that has roots in history but also appears in many moderns finds. In addition, the Southern Flourish launch issue is packed with amazing articles about Southern style and beauty, what to do on a long weekend in Charleston, discovering local farming and much more.

Traveling Parent Books - Sometimes I Work in...
Parents that travel for work don't always have it easy. Leaving their family means missing quality time with their kids, and kids can be left with unease when their parent is gone and routine is broken. Atlanta author Tom Daly has created a set of children's books that soften this situation both for the business parent and the troubled child.
The books walk through the steps of why the parent needs to travel, opens dialogue about why travel is needed, and even creates a fun, colorful atmosphere with a postcard included in each book. Men can now be in-the-know on-the-go with GQ's City Guides for guys.These online travel guides highlight the best man made spots in America's favorite cities. The City Guides reveal Stay, Eat, Drink, Buy and The Extra Mile suggestions and provide options for those guys on a budget or those gentlemen looking to splurge. How else would you find that speakeasy in San Francisco's Tenderloin area or the hamburger mecca, Hut's Hamburgers, in Austin, TX that serves a Boodieburger loaded with sour cream and mushrooms?

Pet Airways - The Pet Airline
Get your pawsengers ready for the only airline exclusively for pets. Starting this July in 5 major cities you can book an airline ticket for your pet on Pet Airways. Your pet will fly in coach on an airplane designed for your furry friend. A Pet Attendant will look after your pet before, during, and after the flight. Pet travel reservations can be made right from their website with fares for round-trip or one-way flights. Cats and dogs are the only pets allowed on flights, but Pet Airways is considering adding birds to the list. Oh, and there's no first class. 'Travel for your best friend' is all in coach.

The website is clean and easy to navigate and also showcases amazing hotel options in an appealing way. Each hotel they feature has been thoroughly reviewed in order to become a hotel on their site. The Tablet team prides itself in having a background in travel, architecture, and design. This allows them to focus on quality, unique hotels with attention to detail. They also mention that they have zero tolerance for boredom. Overall, it fulfills the desire to want to stay at more than a standard chain hotel and provides hotel experiences worthwhile.
You can make reservations directly on the Tablet Hotel site, and the price is the lowest you can find. Some specific hotels I've discovered (and have had the pleasure to stay at) through Tablet Hotels are: Hotel Giraffe in New York City, Sundance Resort in Provo, Utah, International House in New Orleans, and Lungarno Suites in Florence, Italy.
