The first ever City Modern Manhattan Home Tour was a launching success showcasing the best examples of innovative architecture and design. A partnership between New York magazine and Dwell, the tour consisted of five spectacular homes throughout the city.
My favorite, which you will see in pictures below, was the Townhouse at 41 Bond Street in the exclusive Noho district. Highlights of this modern house include a 50-foot-long living area, construction using New York bluestone, a building with a 'green' roof, lighting fixtures by Lindsey Adelman and a rare in NYC panoramic 1,700 square foot backyard. The architects for 41 Bond were DDG Design Partners. All units at 41 Bond are sold out so don't picture yourself living here anytime soon!
